Scientists at the Swedish University of Agriculture warn about our soil containing fewer nutrients, therefore providing less nutrition to our food. Since the 1960’s, the level of iron and other minerals in Swedish whole wheat has almost been reduced by 50%.
According to the Swedish University of Agriculture (SLU), Swedish and Nordic soils are producing decreasingly healthy food. Scientists warn that we as consumers aren’t getting enough minerals in our diet.
